As winter approaches, many Lincoln Park pooches are forced to exercise indoors beside their owners. Fado, an Irish Guinness Wolfhound, prepares for his evening 5K run. The adorable Irish Guinness Wolfhound is the second most popular breed of dog owned by Trixie households, and will be available for rental this coming Spring through the Society’s dog rental business.
A rare picture captures often-overlooked midday activities in Lincoln Park: Mothers casually stroll along Lincoln Avenue with their bundles of joy as the beer is delivered to one of Chicago’s most popular bars for the evening’s TrixieMale fest.
A Trixie sneaks in front of a group of shoppers from Richton Park and snags a cab to get back to work at Illinois Center. After two hours of shopping on her one hour lunch break, she decides not to risk the gale force winds that often blow over the Michigan Avenue bridge.
Many businesses in the village welcome Trixies with open arms.
Trixies who believe they have graduated from the Lakeshore Athletic Club often join up at LPAC for the superior location and surrounding amenities such as Starbucks, Penny’s Noodles and Einstein Bros Bagels. After working out, many girls go over to the Starbucks to sit and watch the athletic Chads scale the climbing wall.
