Cable or Streaming, Multiplied by Ten

Cable, Satellite, or Streaming When You Have Ten Televisions: A Household Infrastructure Crisis
The Diary · Filed by the Editorial Committee

I tried to compare cable with streaming and discovered that most advice assumes you have one or two televisions. We have ten. I didn't choose ten at once; I counted them while making the list.

There is the kitchen news, the parlor fireplace, Jonathan's market coverage in his study and my British detectives in mine. Then the gym, three bedrooms, the media room and the garage. Jonathan says the garage set is for watching games while he works on the motorcycle. The television arrived first.

We still have cable in part of the house, a satellite dish and seven streaming services. Each of the streaming subscriptions was described to me as practically nothing. Taken together, they are rather something. The AI put them in a chart.

The maple blocks the dish's view of the sky. Margot already has opinions about the maple because of the bar station, and I don't want to add television reception to that conversation.

Our son says to watch everything on an app. I asked him to show me which app would satisfy both of us and work on all ten sets. We are going to change over in November, after the World Series and before the holiday specials.

Jonathan wants to leave the dish on the roof even if we stop using it. I have agreed for the moment. I would like to finish one part of this first.
