April 8 — Lincoln Park, Illinois —
The Lincoln Park Trixie Society announces that it has offered membership credentials to 302 Trixies and 190 TrixieMales. These memberships were offered based on over 2500 new membership applications received by the Membership Committee between April 16 and January 1. Similar to past results, the admittance ratio remains at ess than approimately 25 percent, which, according the Membership Director Jill Martin, keeps the Society exclusive among similar organizations.
“We are very excited to welcome these new Trixies and TrixieMales into the Society today,” announced Ms. Martin outside Lincoln Park Quick Print on north Lincoln where she was picking up the newly-minted membership cards and certificates. “I’m pleased that we only admitted 25 percent of our applicants, pretty much guaranteeing that while the Society cominutes to grow astronomically, we still only admit the cream of the crop.”
The Society extends its best wishes to all new members!
An updated list of new members will be released shortly. The Society’s full membership and contact list is only published in paper form, distributed at the Society’s Annual State of LP Meeeting.
If you were a member that applied during this period, you should be receiving an acceptance (or rejection) letter within the upcoming two weeks.
