Clipped from the district reports on my way through the village. I read these so you don't have to. — Ash

Society Member Kendra O’Reilly was out for cocktails with her friends Cheryl, Maralat, Jay and Tiffany at Tilli’s. While the group was guzzling Guinness and people watching from one of the coveted open-air window seats, a man came and took a long overt glance at Kendra’s legs. Then, out of nowhere, a large dog leapt towards their table, grabbed their flatbread pizza appetizer right off the table, and ran down the street. Then the man left. Kendra promptly shouted after him, but that didn’t help to return their stolen appetizer. Kendra’s friend Jay — a new associate at Sidley & Austin — theorizes that the dog must belong to the man, and between the two of them, this was definitely a well-thought-out scheme to steal their appetizer. A police report was filed in the matter.
