Before there were influencers, there was The Society.
Lincoln Park, Chicago.
An apartment, a few friends, and quite a lot to discuss. We have been keeping up with Lincoln Park ever since.

Coffee collected, a Member heads back onto North Halsted. There are other errands to do, but this was the first stop.

Some Members are furnishing their first studios. Others are discussing a kitchen renovation from a Range Rover that will not fit in the garage. They still meet for coffee on Armitage, compare plans, and ask who is coming to dinner.
The Society keeps them in touch. There are new Members to welcome, old photographs to explain, and usually someone who knows where to find a better apartment.

Whitney likes an early start at East Bank Club. Jill would rather meet afterward on Armitage. By lunchtime, someone has proposed dinner at the Alehouse, and the conversation has moved to who can get there and which wine to order.
Younger Members are welcome to join for whichever part fits around work. Most of us remember taking a rather long lunch.
