Jill Martin
Jill Martin is Vice President and editor of Society Dispatches. She began with TrixieUpdate, the Member newsletter, and still believes a useful issue should tell you what happened, who was there, and what you need to know next. She works closely with Ashley and may chair the Annual Brunch in her absence. She keeps a copy of the seating plan just in case.
Professionally: Jill is a Contributing Editor at Town & Country, where she writes about summer entertaining. Her quarterly column, The Long Weekend, leaves room for the practical questions: how many people are staying, what to serve them, and when they are going home.
Originally from Manatanee, Iowa, Jill is a Notre Dame graduate and lives on Hampden Court. Her Chicago addresses have all been in 60614. She is especially fond of the Society's early photographs, including several she would have preferred not to appear in.
