Brian O'Halloran
Brian O'Halloran is the Society's Technology Director. He advises the officers on communications, Member data, security, and what he calls matters of artificial cognition. He built the original website and remains the person everyone contacts when something will not open.
Professionally: Brian began in network architecture at Andersen Consulting, now Accenture, and runs a private security consultancy in the former Amoco Building. He does not list its clients. The officers have accepted this, although several would like to know whether they know any of them.
His Society work includes the current website, the digital archive, and The Atlas, the Member mobile platform. At board meetings he is often asked to explain AI, then interrupted by a question about the WiFi.
Originally from Rogers Park, Brian lives in a compound south of Webster and west of Halsted. He describes it as fully networked. No one who has visited has disputed this.
