Anneke van der Velde

Anneke van der Velde oversees Europe from Amsterdam. Her title is Director of Middle West Expansion, as entered at the Brunch. She asked whether the portfolio included Europe, received a yes, and began work.

Anneke reviews prospective chapters city by city. She likes to speak with the people who would run them before sending a report to Chicago, where the officers are often ready to discuss the inaugural lunch.

Her first assessments found plenty of suitable neighborhoods. The Vehicle Registry has proved harder to explain in Amsterdam. She has asked Margot where to enter a bicycle, and is waiting for the revised form.

Professionally: Anneke is a partner in her family firm. She gives the Society the information it needs for her appointment and keeps the rest of the business separate.
