TrixieMale Jim Berry is the first to double-park in front of the new Starbucks at Division and Paulina. The brand-new Starbucks is the star attraction of the rapidly Trixiefying neighborhoods of Wicker Park & East Village. According to Jim, this Starbucks features one of the best double-parking scenarios in the city, offering wide radius corners designed to accomodate up to two Jettas or one Land Rover with rear bike racks and Rhino Bars.

Is the Real Estate market getting better or worse? This building, located at LaSalle and Kinzie near the Loop and many Trixie employers was originaly built as rental apartments, but then converted into condos during the height of the condo craze. Is this a sign that Lincoln Park sales successes are moving southward, or was the developer simply an ex-Lincoln Parker who had condo on the mind? According to Society Member Lisa Maddigan (no relation to the LPTS-endorsed candidate for Attorney General, Lisa Madigan), she purchased a condo in the building due to its proximity to her favorite gym (Crunch on State), as well as her consulting job at 180 N. LaSalle.

Are BMW films the next thing of the future? So claims this inventive advertisement for “The Hire.” The movie is expected to be especially popular among the twenty and thirty-something BMW owners when it opens soon at the famed Webster Place theatres in Lincoln Park. No doubt JettaFilms.com is under development, too!

A new ad for Starbucks DoubleShot canned espresso drinks sits atop a building on North State street in the Gold Coast. According to an advertising executive who frequents the Starbucks on Rush Street, the DoubleShot was originally marketed towards Trixies and TrixieMales as an accessory to tote to work and put in the company’s shared refrigerator to be enjoyed later in the day. However, sales have slumped and the coffee chain purportedly has begun selling excess inventories to bicycle messengers needing a portable caffeine pick-me-up.
