The Society has released the Approved Establishments Pocketbook — a spiral-bound, ruled field journal intended for the carrier's own private register of village establishments she has personally vetted and elected to recognize.
The Pocketbook is for a Member's own notes: restaurants to return to, a salon someone recommended, and the name of the wine she meant to remember. The Society's published directory remains available separately.
What it is
Spiral-bound and ruled, with the Trixie Star and Society wordmark on the cover. It fits in a handbag. Members may organize the pages as they like; Caroline has already suggested an index.
"A Member should have her own list. The Society has its list. The two are not the same and are not expected to be."
What it is not
There are no pre-filled recommendations. A Member can keep a short list or fill the whole book. Jill has suggested leaving a few pages at the back for places friends insist she try.
Please put your name inside the cover. The Committee would prefer not to identify the owner of a lost notebook by her dinner orders.
The Pocketbook joins the Tote, Tee, Mug, Beanie, and Sticker in the Shop. Suggestions for future additions may be sent to the Committee.
