The Lincoln Park Trixie Society is please to annouce that Miss Jacqui Smythe of Lincoln Park, Illinois was the lucky high-bidder on the recent auction of Ashley Munroe’s Kate Spade Clutch.
The clutch, a beloved Black 1998 model, was carried by Ashley during her tenure as Executive Director of the Society. Miss Munroe purchased the bag before her wedding. After marrying Jonathan, a new and larger Kate Spade handbag naturally made its way onto Miss Munroe’s shoulder. Miss Munroe donated the older clutch to the
to be auctioned for charity.
Miss Smythe, the new owner of the clutch, tells the Society that she will carry the clutch everywhere she goes in Lincoln Park. She indicated that the clutch would be replaced by a larger model when she finds the right husband. She noted that “he body clock was ticking..” and that “it’s almost getting to late to have that obligatory Lincoln Park baby…”.
