The Lincoln Park Trixie Society today announced its formal endorsement of Mayor Richard M. Daley in the upcoming municipal election. The Board voted unanimously.
"Mayor Daley understands Lincoln Park," said Executive Director Ashley Munroe. "He has kept the lakefront clean, the parking meters functional, and the neighborhoods livable. The Society asks nothing more of its municipal officials."
The endorsement represents the Society's formal mayoral position. The Board notes that this endorsement is entirely contingent on the continued operation of street-sweeping on the north side of Armitage.
